Membership Benefits
We’re a lot more than a workout facility!
We’re passionate about helping everyone pursue a healthy lifestyle in spirit, mind and body and our members get to take advantage of programs, services and our facility to help them do just that. Check out all the benefits of membership below:
Youth Sports Leagues
Help your children learn athletic and sportsmanship skills by enrolling them in any of our Youth Sports. Reduced rates for members. See Youth Sports for leagues, days and times.
Child Watch Center
Care is provided for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 7 years while parents are in the facility exercising. There is a one and a half-hour limit for children 6 weeks to 24 months and a two-hour limit for children 25 months to 7 years of age. Space is limited and a waiting list will be taken (first come, first served) during peak hours. Please check with the attendant for the next available opening. This is a non-licensed drop-in sitting program. Parents must remain in the Y at all times. Free to members. See Child Watch for more information.
Group Exercise & Sports Classes
These classes are a great way to get in shape and make new friends. Most group exercise and many sports classes are included in your membership. Attend as many classes each week as you like and design a fitness schedule that works for you. Some classes are offered seasonally so check out the current monthly schedules on our Programs page or stop by the Welcome Center.
Reduced Program Fees
Members always pay a reduced fee for any paid programs that are open to non-members.
Lockers & Towels
Lockers are available for day use while you are in the facility. Members must use their own lock and may use any locker available. Please bring your own towels.
Health & Wellness Center Orientation
Learn how to use all of the equipment in our Health & Wellness Center before embarking on your exercise program. Appointments can be made at the Health & Wellness Center desk.
Guests
Two guest passes per cardholder are provided with each new membership but we ask that a guest be with a member. Any community member can enjoy two free visits to determine if he/she is interested in becoming a member.
A.W.A.Y. Program
Most YMCAs have an A.W.A.Y. (Always Welcome at Y’s) program, which allows members to use other Y facilities when traveling. Y’s across the United States and in more than 105 countries will honor your YMCA of Greenville & Hunt County membership card on a limited basis. Please check at the Membership Office or at the Welcome Center for names, locations and phone numbers of the Y’s using this program. You will need to have your membership card with you to use another YMCA.
